About Fred Staab

My career involves creating content for broadcast television, cable, syndicated, and video streaming outlets with a focus on great storytelling. My projects have been seen on NBC. ABC, FOX, and PBS networks including numerous segments on "The Today Show,""Dateline NBC," Discovery Channel. History channel and more. In 2019 I won an Emmy award for the PBS show "Scitech Now" I worked on three seasons of the show creating over 60 episodes. I'm a video producer and video editor skilled with Avid and Adobe Premiere editing systems. Two of my recent projects for PBS and ViacomCBS involved remote editing. In addition, I host a weekly syndicated radio program and podcast called "Cruise Control" detailing developments in the automotive industry including new models, new technology, and interviews with key designers and engineers. This show is produced through my production company Summit Media Communications Inc. that is designed to take my client's video projects from concept to completion. For me it’s all about finding that great story, then using the right technology to help tell and communicate it to a television, digital, podcast, or national radio audience. One constant throughout my media content creation career, is my quest to learn something new every day and never feel that you know everything.
