About Fred Westbrook

Since the spring of 2006, I have directed C'Access Inc, a specialty provider of video capture/access technology and live event streaming. C'Access Inc. has been a team of creative and technical professionals working together to provide innovative and integrated media solutions to universities and organizations. In 2018 I moved to a semi-retirement from this role. Previously the company developed and supported a variety of media, from online professional education to short and long format video programs. I have extensive experience in the capture and online delivery of live events such as graduate/undergraduate lectures, worship, performing arts, continuing medical education, and corporate conferences. I have published and packaged media, produced ongoing broadcast streaming, managed video channels and archives, developed web presence for businesses and non-profits, as well as provided consulting on an array of creative and professional media needs. The company is still incorporated in NC as C'Access Inc. However I am now longing for part-time job opportunities in my areas of expertise in the Durham and Chapel Hill areas of North Carolina. Previously I have had a wide variety of clients with very diverse needs. Currently, I provide ongoing support on occasion with just one client and will keep doing that for the foreseeable future with some support. My company's primary focus has been to support the goals of institutions of higher learning, a variety of faith communities and music and arts organizations by providing for their communication and education media technology needs. My experience in the last thirty years has prepared me well for these kinds of responsibilities.
