About Freda Campbell

As the Community Relations Director at Skeena Resources, I have over three years of experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders in the mining and metals industry. My mission is to foster mutual trust, respect, and collaboration between Skeena Resources and the Indigenous Nations, whose traditional territories we operate in. With a Master's degree in Aboriginal Business and Leadership from Simon Fraser University, I have a strong background in capacity development, education, and Aboriginal engagement. I have developed and delivered workshops, training programs, and events that enhance the skills, knowledge, and opportunities of the local communities. I have also demonstrated my ability to resolve conflicts, address concerns, and negotiate agreements that align with the interests and values of all parties. I am passionate about advancing social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and economic development in the mining sector.
