An Experienced Information Technology and Business Intelligence professional, that started as a software Developer, building custom Applications and Business Reports on the IBM AS400/System I (DB2), with many years of experience as a SQL developer, as well as building SSIS ETL’s from various source systems and technologies, into target database systems. After years of experience Managing the Information Technology Infrastructure and Support Department as Senior Manager, I also have a great appreciation of how the Information Technology Infrastructure and hardware can Impact the usability of your Business Information. Over the years I have cultivated solid, Business and Systems Analysis capabilities, and have developed skills around Business Reporting, as well as efficiency focused Database Design and Administration, within business industries like Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Financial services as well as Aviation and Aircraft Maintenance. And Over the last few years, I have focused on maintaining Data Warehouse systems based on Dimensional modelling for Business Information. Having used various Business Intelligence Reporting and Dashboard tools available to me throughout my career, I have been able to adapt quickly to new tools or technologies when required to do so. With Great Analytical skills I can understand complex problems and find Unconventional Solutions. I have also worked in industries that are well Regulated and have been able to contribute well with IT systems as well as financial audits. I also have specialized knowledge around the Aviation Authorities and their requirements from IT, and this has also exposed me to a very Safety conscious and Regulated Industry, I have cultivated skills around the Financial interpretation of information within manufacturing, taking labour, material, and productivity into consideration.
