20+ years of international experience as a professional quantity surveyor. Well rounded Pre & Post Contract QS with confidence in: Estimating, Payment Certifying, Monitoring, Pro Formas, Claims, Negotiations & Expert Witness. Significant experience in the following project types: Residential (Low & high rise), Commercial (Construction & Fit Out), Industrial, Hospitality (Hotels, Sports & Entertainment), Infrastructure (Roads, Bridges, Water, Waste Water), Medical (Hospitals, Long Term Care), Public Civic (Police, Fire & Ambulance stations, Libraries), Education (Elementary, Secondary, University), Transit (Rail, Air, Bus) and Defence projects. Unfortunately if you're looking for Space Station estimates, I don't have any experience in that area! Designate Holder (PQS) with the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) and Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), I also served on the National board for Oman with the RICS. Fan of rugby, travel & blue skies. I've been very fortunate in my career to have lived and worked in Alberta, Ontario (twice) & the Sultanate of Oman, as well as being born and raised in the UK. Each place I've enjoyed and have earned some great experience along the way. I like to think that I think outside the box and love what I do. If I won the lottery I'd still be actively involved in Construction, but might give the 6am commute's a bit of a rest!
