About Freddy Wooster

As a recent Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Manchester, I'm excited to apply my academic knowledge and hands-on experience to a dynamic graduate role. During my time at university, I developed key fundamental skills that will serve me well throughout my career across a variety of roles and industries such as technical problem solving, data analysis and mathematical modelling skills. I have already been able to apply these skills first hand during my year-long placement at Haleon. At Haleon, I had the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects, working with teams based both in R&D and manufacturing sites, gaining valuable insights into the consumer healthcare industry's fast-paced environment. My role involved optimising production processes, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also strengthened my ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently in a professional setting. During my placement I also led an environmental project focused on reducing the sites' water wastage which resulted in myself receiving an employee recognition reward. I am now eager to leverage my skills in a graduate role where I can continue to learn and contribute to innovative projects in a fast-moving industry. With the strong foundation of skills built up from my chemical engineering degree, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for continuous learning, I am ready to take on new challenges and make a meaningful impact in my next role.
