About Frederic Beister

I’m a software engineer with a broad curiosity for technology and the patience to go into detail when a problem or topic requires it. Over more than ten years at my current company, I’ve been part of building the product from the early stages to what it is today, gaining experience across many layers of software and system design. My main focus now is Java and microservices, though I’ve worked with a range of technologies and enjoy adapting to new ones. I value asking the right questions to move projects forward and to uncover perspectives that might otherwise be missed. I prefer staying close to the code and architecture rather than people management, but I enjoy mentoring and knowledge-sharing within a team. What matters most to me is working with people who value humility, collaboration, and thoughtful problem-solving. I approach new challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
