About Frederic Geiger

Having spent extensive stretches of time abroad in various countries by the time I graduated, I've developed a deep appreciation for the diversity of perspectives that come with intercultural experience. While finishing my master's thesis in Technology Management I wrote the business plan for Questlog, an idea that combines my passion with a personal pain point and attentive market observation.The idea successfully got me into the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, which I chose to do at the electric car startup Uniti in Sweden. The environment offered a steep entrepreneurial learning curve and shifted my perception of technology, which led me to enroll in Philosophy of Science and Technology master parogram. A benefit of being back at TUM was that I could to start Questlog within Munich's vibrant startup ecosystem. The variety of resources, events and the general community I enjoyed in Munich and my decision to locate Questlogs micro factory in my hometown, led to the founding of Startblock. Startblock is a co-working and co-production space that aims at lowering barriers for entrepreneurs to manifest and test their ideas.Right now, I focus on scaling Questlog and developing its digital side. This involves product design, marketing, distribution and many other areas. As I am very curious and enjoy the process of learning and applying new skills, I look forward to the challenges ahead.
