About Frederic Karam

Frederic Karam, born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1985, is a highly motivated and competitive individual with a strong belief in the power of perseverance. He holds a background in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by extensive knowledge in finance and management. Frederic has a robust entrepreneurial spirit and has been involved in various business ventures throughout his career. In 2012, Frederic co-founded Hydroleb Farms SARL, the first fully environmentally controlled hydroponic farm in Lebanon, alongside his brothers. The farm was established through collaborations with industry giants such as General Hydroponics Europe, Hanna Instruments, Polytex, and other well-known companies. Frederic later joined SEG International, a leading general contractor in the region, as a board member. As part of his role, he set up and joined IMEX, an extension of SEG, to centralize procurement of materials and equipment and manage various project-related contracts. As a shareholder in Karam Enterprises, Frederic is also a board member for several subsidiary companies, helping to shape the vision and direction of each organization. Frederic's entrepreneurial journey has led him to launch several food and beverage retail businesses through Hydroleb Trading SARL, a subsidiary of Hydroleb Holding SAL. In 2016, he ventured into the creation of spirits and novelty beverages in Mexico, specializing in tequila and mezcal, through Grupo LBMX.
