About Frederic Kleinermann

Current Position : I am a Senior Software Developer at Simcorp developing solutions for customers in the domain of finance engineering. I am working for the Customer Service department on making code development to fit better customer requirements. Having a background in Artficial Intelligence and being up-to-date with recent advances in that field, I am also working with our Product Division department on the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI to automate some of our internal process flow. Those projects range from detecting automatically real code issues coming from error logs of our software, to building AI Copilot based on Generative AI in order to help Business Consultants in understanding faster and more in depth issues coming from customers. Beside this, I have also followed a number of courses on Quantum Machine Learning (QML) and Quantum Algorithms. I am developing small projects to embed those ideas into our current projects for instance the use of Quantum Algorithms for option pricing or portfolio optimization. Recently, I am also involved on the use of Quantum Algorithms for making Matrix Multiplications faster. Current Research Interests : I am passionate about modern computing and research in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I am helping in researching and developing new solutions to industrial problems using new research concepts coming from the domain of Computer Science & Applied Mathematics such as the use of ML/AI or Quantum Computing. I am achieving this by having more than 15 years of experience in academic research and more than 12 years of experience in the private sector.
