About Frederic Komp

I am the Co-Founder of Trade4Sports, where we aim to digitize the sports advertising market and make it “media”-ready – all the way to programmatic booking of sports inventory. In my career I have led agencies, digital companies and media publishers over the past 20 years as CEO, namely in the Ströer group, where I acquired and led publishers as t-online.de (widest-reaching German website), Giga.de (tech lifestyle portal) or social media agencies as TubeOne or Faceadnet, and before that in the Brainpool/ Banijay Germany group, where I was responsible for the digital marketing and products of well-known tv brands as TV total, Stromberg or Schlag den Star and created MySpass, Germany´s biggest comedy YouTube and video network. My expertise is focused in digital business models, digital marketing and digital products as well as M&A activities. After studying information and media technologies I started my career as a software developer in a T-Mobile spin-off, programming SMS services and took off from there to focus on the commercial aspects of the digital marketing sphere, never losing my passion for technology and digital products.
