About Frederic Oehl

Over the last 20 years, I have actively helped individuals, teams and companies on their agile or personal journey. Key achievements- Trained and introduced individuals and teams to Scrum and Kanban- Coached/mentored people to grow in specific areas (leadership, public speaking, facilitating agile ceremonies, changing job, starting a small business, etc.)- Coached teams to challenge the status-quo and build a continuous improvement mindset; How can we deliver value quicker? How can we shorten our feedback loops? What can we do to improve quality? How do we know what we are delivering is valuable to our customers? How do we collaborate better with that other team? Who owns that action- Supported the entire product team by creating their product vision, planning the delivery of it and then tracking progress via the objective key results of each team- Developed Agile as a company mindset by working with non-IT departments to start their agile journey. Promoted IT-like delivery by encouraging reflection and adaptation to generate feedback loops. One of my favourite stories to help them understand the value of that time is the wood cutter story; in short, a wood cutter went from being the best to losing his job because he never took the time to sharpen his axe (reflect & adapt) and was unable to deliver the quotas- Helped companies map their value stream from Sales to client deliverable and then worked with all the teams involved in the process to understand where we stand and how flows could be improved.
