About Frederic Reynaud

I joined Oliver Wyman in January 2016 and during my first few years, I was fortunate to work on projects across a wide range of industries (retail, finance, telecommunications, private equity.). My assignments were varied but usually involved designing and/or deploying advanced analytical solutions (SQL, Python, Excel). Since 2019, I've focused on the development and deployment of Oliver Wyman's proprietary Fulcrum platform, engaging with over 10 clients across the USA, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Fulcrum is an innovative tool designed to facilitate migrations from legacy insurance Policy Administration Systems (PAS), streamlining processes for our clients in terms of both legacy data management and product logic extraction. My day-to-day work involves a blend of software development, actuarial analysis to understand the mechanics of legacy products, and data engineering to extract information from complex databases. Team management and client collaboration are also core focus areas, ensuring we work together effectively. I thrive in complex technical environments and excel at deploying tailored solutions rapidly. My full-stack experience spans backend development in Python and C#, frontend work in Quasar, and data management using SQL and DynamoDB. Prior to Oliver Wyman, my Master’s research focused on applications of econometric modelling to the analysis of user behavior in transportation systems. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from McGill University.
