I have worked for a decade in technology operations in the Canadian financial services sector first in Enterprise Architecture at the Bank of Nova Scotia and more recently at CIBC and Microsoft. My expertise is working with data science and application delivery teams to derive valuable business insights from large core banking data sets. In essence, I facilitate the conversations between business and technology teams that are essential to successful business outcomes. I am a subject matter expert in data engineering, regulatory compliance and artificial intelligence across a variety of on-premises and cloud-based technology stacks. I am well versed in front and back-office banking operations including customer relationship management, asset and liability management, risk management and regulatory compliance. Prior to moving to Canada, I was a consultant for many years in IBM Global Services across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In my spare time, I am a long-distance skater and I own a successful hair salon.
