After graduating with my DVM degree I began work at the Edmonds Veterinary Service as a mixed practitioner. A great place and VMD to gain invaluable experience. I left there in 1973 with a young family to build my own practice. I owned and operated my own veterinary hospital in Dennis, Massachusetts from 1973 to 2009. Dennis Animal Hospital, Inc. After “retirement” I moved to Providence, RI. Soon got a bit bored and started a great job as a veterinarian at the Sturbridge Veterinary Hospital in 2010 and still working full time there. I have been in active practice for 57 years and still enjoying the work without “ burnout”
