I am a founding partner in Koehl, Youngman, Levy, Rosenthal & Shaffer Wealth Management Group, a Merrill Lynch Wealth Management advisory practice in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I have been a financial advisor at Merrill for the past 40 years. As a team, the Koehl, Youngman, Levy, Rosenthal & Shaffer Wealth Management Group works closely and purposefully with our clients, helping each of them to reach their lifetime financial goals, while at the same time trying to simplify their financial lives. Given the complexity of life, our team strives to uncover each client's specific challenges and opportunities, and then apply our years of combined experience to provide insightful, transparent support. Our clients look to us for specialized knowledge and careful planning in the context of their own unique situation. Combining our experience with the vast resources of Merrill, the Koehl, Youngman, Levy, Rosenthal & Shaffer team helps our clients achieve their goals through investment management, trust and estate planning services, 401(k) plans, personal retirement planning, philanthropy, insurance, and all of the banking services of Bank of America. I am a graduate of the University of Virginia, with a B.A. degree in Economics. I currently serve on the executive board of Temple Israel, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, having served as its President in 2010-2012. For the past 20 years I have served as co-chairperson of the Temple's Investment Committee. I currently serve on its board, the JCA of Northeastern Pennsylvania. My wife Barbara and I have been married for over 50 years. We are the proud parents of two married children, their spouses, and three grandchildren.
