I am a life science researcher with background in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics. My research focus is on the protein quality control network of the cell, consisting of the ubiquitin proteasome system and molecular chaperones. How this system is challenged during stress and ageing and how its proteolytic and folding part are interconnected are some of my special interests.
