I practiced Otolaryngology, and Neurotology since 1963. I completed my residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. I retired as full Professor at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. I was involved in the first cochlear implants as part of the House study group and reported the first CT of the head and neck, and was coauthor of the first Atlas of CT of the head and neck. My company was one of the originators of telemedicine and had a contract with Raytheon in 1990. I am a Past President of The American Neurotology Society, Fellows of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the American Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Society, the Triologic Society, and member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the AMA. Practiced in Tripoli Libya for 4 years at Moassat hospital. Art collector and past Nantucket gallery owner.
