In the the science part of my work In my work, I am interested in the basic physics/chemistry of the processes in nature that occur on different length and time scales, i.e. atomic processes (femtosecond time scale, Ångström/nanometer length scale), macromolecular processes (picosecond - microsecond timescale, micrometer length scale) and macroscopic processes (millisecond - second time scale, millimeter - meter length scale). I want to understand these very different processes and also how they interact and affect each other. In my career I have chosen simulations as the tool I to use in my work. This means that I get to work with both fundamental physics/chemistry and applied mathematics. I have never regretted that choice. The most important part of my work is of course product development and innovation to satisfy customer needs. In my current position, leader of a team dedicated to designing a fuel cell electric heavy duty vehicle, I use my my scientific analytical skills as well as my skills in technical leadership. Whether I'm working on the fuel cell electric vehicle or understanding hydrogen infrastructure, It's crucial in my work to adopt a system perspective. This I would say is one of my skills, being able to think in many dimensions when understanding a complex system.
