About Fredrik Larsson

Hello! For me languages and cultures are no barriers but rather opportunities and ice-breakers. I love working in a multicultural environment since I am a polyglot, linguist, political scientist, gender scientist and peace and conflict scientist and have a lot of experience of other cultures and international settings. I am based in Uppsala Sweden where I am studying and working. I have two bachelors degrees, one in South Asian studies with a focus on linguistics, sociolinguistics and sustainable development and the other is in Political science with a postcolonial theoretical and Asian focus. I also have a masters degree in peace and conflict studies with a focus on religion and ideology and a masters degree in gender studies with indigenous perspectives. I have a lot of experiences of working with people in nursing, teching and social environments involving Swedish systems of schooling, nursing care and social work in the social services and also linguistic experiences such as translating, transliterating and interpretation. I also have a lot of volunteering experience with different cultures and language training and also from humanitarian and environmental aid internationally. With my experiences from real estate agencys and fundraising I also have great customer service skills which I hope could be of use to a new employer. I have been described by colleagues as very hard working, ambitious and adaptive to situations and different people. I have also been described as a person who always completes tasks I have been assigned and I do it with a smile, no matter how hard and difficult it might get. My skills concerning networking and the use of Word programs and calculation programs are also very well developed. I am interested in working with international humanitarian, environmental and ecological rights and issues and I want to travel and work in different environments to expand my enlightenment. I currently work at the Swedish Migration Agency as a case manager. Specialties: Good at analyzing languages and cultures.
