About Fredrik Sundstrom
I am currently working as Operations Manager for Scandic Sourcing in Shanghai. We are a consulting company helping foreign companies do business in the Chinese market. I previously worked for Shanxi Aker Tisco Roll Co, a Swedish-Chinese Joint Venture steel manufacturer, and I was responsible for the new foundry installations and start-up, as well as production tracking software projects. One major project was the complete inspection and installation of the spin caster machine. These projects help me gathered a lot of experience working along German and Swedish engineers together with Chinese colleagues and Chinese suppliers. I have a M.Sc. degree from Lulea University of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering and I have later studied Chinese language at BLCU and Tsinghua University in Beijing. I am passionate about problem-solving and technology, and I am always looking forward to new opportunities to broaden my knowledge and face new challenges.
