Background

About Frew Behabtu

I have worked for more than 22 years in various positions at international NGOs, Consulting firms, private companies, Universities, and currently at the UN (IFAD). I have been working at the grassroots level as a natural resource management expert, team leader, lecturer, grant officer, project coordinator, Programme officer, and currently as Country Director. During my career, I had the opportunity to interact with farmers, experts, researchers, academicians, policy makers, the private sector, and consultants at different levels, where I grasped a lot of knowledge and skill in food security and rural development in East Africa, South Asia, and South East Asia. I developed the skill to facilitate workshops, training, and meetings while teaching at the University, and certified in the teaching profession. I chase my dream to realize a world with ZERO HUNGER!
