About Freya Scott

I am currently an Assistant Manager training for Deputy General Manager within Rarebreed Dining having returned to hospitality after a 5.5 year break. I spent 10 years in hospitality which is where I honed and developed my people, communication, and team/ event management skills. After leaving hospitality I moved into Antique Jewellery retail for almost 3 years, where I not only got to enjoy my love of history and all things sparkly, but I also got to learn basic business accounting/ filing, how to design and use a CRM database, event organisation & billing, and buying & selling. I have also had two separate contract stints working for recruitment firms where I further developed my organisation, diary/ time/ inbox management, computer, general administration skills, and began to learn about the construction industry. Having found an interest in construction I made the leap to the HBF in October 2019 where I took on the role of Technical Administrator and I loved learning about and developing within the construction industry. While working at HBF I started doing some part time hours at a local fine dining establishment and quickly realised that hospitality was where I belong. I joined Rarebreed Dining full time and rose from waitress, to supervisor, to Assistant Manager in just over a year.
