I'm a program manager, with a strong drive for structure, clarity and honesty. I encourage people I work with, to be open: both about things going well as things that could be better. Each project comes with change. The human side of change is often overlooked or underestimated. I'm convinced a project can only be truly successful if the change part of the project is treated at least as serious as the 'getting the job done' part. For me the best lubricant for working well together is humor: once in a while we need to laugh about our daily work and ourselves.'Blue' is my natural way of working: knowing a successful project based on smart deliverables alone, is not a guarantee for success. Together with the acceptance of change, it’s the foundation for success though. Working based on trust and professional partnership is my preferred way of working. For 20 years, I’ve been leading projects implementing HR / payroll systems (ADP) and ERP solutions (Microsoft Dynamics AX and 365). In 2018 my focus shifted to implementing RPA at Vanderlande: With the RPA Center of Excellence up and running, I shifted to working more closely together with Process Owners in the Finance and Supply chain departments to help improve their business processes. A good work – private time balance is very important to me. In my free time, I'm a keen musician (accordion, piano, writing and arranging) and photographer. Besides that, I run a private project called ‘getting the house done’: doing small DIY around the house and keeping my garden presentable. It’s by far my worst project ever, as it kept missing deadlines and ran over budget.
