About Frois Jeanne

With my approach writing, I wish to both investigate, analyze, create, vindicate, validate and capture a good story, fiction or non-fiction. It has been a joy for me to be able to write about the culture of my home state of Louisiana. I believe underdogs deserve as much recognition for their efforts as A-Listers. I think of writing as the unveiling of something that is hidden and should be handled with utmost integrity. It doesn't hurt either if the story is beautifully written. I've always believed the story should tell itself with the writer not getting in the way of it. I don't start writing about a subject or a story until it starts "speaking" to me to best capture the right voice and tone. Regarding my administrative duties in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in a Medical School, the same integrity must be applied as we have a direct impact on patient care and the timely treatment regime that results from pathological reports. Accuracy, efficiency and professionalism are of paramount importance as we are also heavily involved in cancer and liver disease research and the teaching of students and residents. Working to promote a healthy team spirit in the office only helps achieve the best results.
