About Fullchee Zhang

I build React dashboards for sales reps at Forma. I convert business logic into SQL scripts and pass the information with a Django REST API. It brings me joy to make the development experience better through Storybook and technical writing. At IBM and Forma, I've- started glossaries - continuously updated the onboarding docs - wrote skim-able docs for features I wish I had when I started (instead of just writing private notes) At IBM, other ways I helped my team (other than excel at my job) is- documenting, encouraging and helping the team switch from Windows to Linux VMs to half the build-times - two Puppeteer browser automation scripts to speed up development time to update CSS and layout files from the CLI (instead of clicking on the browser)- script that integrates with RTC (IBM's version of git) to have readable diffs - to ensure you weren't overriding someone else's changes I'm also really grateful to be able to scratch my own itch with side projects. Recently, a family member got a high water bill from a leaky toilet so I built a web app that detects high water usage. When my sister worked at a supermarket and hospital and only got her schedule once every week, I built an app to create batch Google Calendar events under 30 seconds. When a family friend's business needed a website, I built one for them.(hongfagranite.com) I like to build apps with TypeScript, React, Node.js and PostgreSQL but I love learning new tech! During non-covid times, I paddle for a dragon boat team. I've also been meditating for 5 years.
