About Fuming Jiang

I am serving as the Head of Department and Professor of International Business in the Department of International Business and Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) in Melbourne, Australia. Previously, I was Head of School of Management at Curtin University for over three years. The school employed 64 fulltime academic faculties and over 90 sessional academics in six disciplines including organizational behavior, human resources, international business, entrepreneurship & innovation, information systems, and supply chain management. The school was also a home to a national research center and a university level institute. Other key managerial and academic leadership roles I served include Deputy Head (Education) of School at Australian National University, Deputy Head of School of Management at Curtin University, and Associate Director of Centre for Asian Business at University of South Australia. I have taught over a dozen of courses across a number of disciplines including strategy, international business, marketing, organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship.My research has focused on theoretical and practical insights of foreign direct investment decisions, strategies, and operations by multinational enterprises operating in and from China. Before migrating to Australia, I was a pharmacist at the People’s Hospital of Jiangsu Province in Nanjing China.
