Funmi Omoyele is a passionate entrepreneur, change agent, and advocate for growth, with over a decade of experience in Human Capital Development, Business Consulting, Event Management, and Governance. As the Founder of Perfect Exquisite Concept (PEC) and The Balloons Hub, I am dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration within Africa’s expanding balloon and events industry. Through initiatives such as the African Balloon Convention, I have driven commercial awareness and created synergies across the value chain, contributing to the growth of an industry projected to increase from USD 297.09 million in 2024 to USD 409.58 million by 2027. At PEC Academy, I have trained over 500 entrepreneurs, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in competitive markets. Previously, as Executive Coordinator at Eden Nigeria, I pioneered the establishment of Eden Institute and successfully expanded its model across multiple university campuses, empowering young minds across Nigeria. In governance, I served as a Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, contributing to impactful projects such as Empower Lagos, Ounje Eko Discount Market, Lagos Agrinnovation Club, and the Lagos Renewable Energy Summit. My remarkable contributions have been recognized with the Ambassadorial Excellence Award from the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the Special Recognition Award from the Campus Headies Award. As a Pioneer Fellow of the Lagos State Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy, I led initiatives like LJLA Radio’s Greater Lagos Insight Show, which airs weekly on EKO 89.7 FM, reaching an audience of over 2 million Lagos residents. An Economics graduate from the University of Lagos with a Professional Certificate in Project Management from BSPM-UK, Executive Course on Mastering the Application of Economics and Strategy in the Public Sector from the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. I am also an active member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ).
