Experienced creative director, brand enthusiast, and adventure seeker who thrives in bringing ideas to life through compelling storytelling. Throughout my 14 years in the design industry, I have been brought into organizations to provide strategic creative direction across all touch-points and platforms and to elevate brands. I thrive in start-up environments as long as I have a good cup of coffee by my side. Former packaging designer turned art director and now creative leader for Shutterfly, my background is a bit of a Swiss Army knife, which has given me the unique ability to identify and create impactful experiences for customers throughout their entire journey with a brand. I have had the opportunity to be a part of, and lead, teams that have delivered meaningful and innovative work for clients such as Shutterfly, American Express, Mars Chocolate, Bayer, Crayola, Microsoft, DC Comics, Warner Brothers, Mari Kondo and Sota Clothing. When I’m not at work, you can often find me enjoying the outdoors (boating, fishing, biking, golfing, or snowboarding), crafting a piece of furniture in my wood shop, working on a home improvement project, spending time with my wife and son, or learning about EVs over a glass of good whiskey. Top 3 Achievements I’m Proud of Shutterfly CRM Sprint Model - Implemented a sprint model and reduced timelines by more than 50% and increased efficiency and capacity by 10%. Mari Kondo Partnership - Led the first brand partnership for Shutterfly with Mari Kondo, beating forecasts, and driving over $1 Million in revenue. Sota Clothing Rebrand - Refined and updated a beloved Minnesota brand and enhanced the customer experience through a new website, product designs, and flagship store design.
