About Gabor Erdos

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am a passionate and innovative general manager who specializes in hotel opening, branding, and guest satisfaction. I have successfully launched and operated three hotels in Budapest, each of them achieving top ratings on TripAdvisor within months of opening. I have also developed and implemented a green hotel concept that aligns with my values of sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental awareness. I am currently looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and diverse organization that shares my vision and mission of creating memorable and meaningful experiences for guests and employees alike. In my most recent role, I was the general manager of Emerald Hotel & Suites, a boutique hotel that opened in January 2022. I was responsible for the organization of pre-opening tasks, procurement of missing tools and equipment, market launch, hotel soft opening, and opening. I also recruited and developed the organizational structure, and ensured the highest standards of quality and service. I led the hotel to achieve a top 10 ranking on TripAdvisor within one month of opening, before leaving the position in May 2022. In Casati and Cortile Hotels I leveraged my skills in bar, construction site inspections, and construction management to oversee the design and the construction of the hotel building, as well as to open and manage a premium quality cocktail bar within the hotel.
