Data Scientist with a master’s degree from The City University of New York (CUNY) and a solid value proposition, bringing over 9 years of experience in information technology, system administration, and cybersecurity prior to entering the field of data science. More companies than ever are using big data to optimize operations, provide better customer service, and grow revenue. In my prior IT career, I saw the growing need for data scientists to help companies make sense of incredibly large datasets and arrive at meaningful conclusions. I decided to pursue a career in data science to help companies tackle these challenges, and over the course of my master’s program at CUNY, have developed skills in several key areas, including: •Predictive Modeling •Statistical Regression •Machine Learning •Ensemble Learning •Extraction, Transformation, and Loading •Data Mining, Management, and Visualization •Programming (Python, R, SQL, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) Outside of my professional sphere, I’m an avid cook, enjoy staying fit, and love catching up on my sci-fi!
