About Gabriel Buckner

As a Terminal Operator at Global Partners, I am responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of various petroleum products. I work with a team of operators to monitor and maintain the terminal equipment, perform quality control tests, and comply with all safety and environmental regulations. I have successfully completed the TWIC certification issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). In addition to my current role, I have previous experience as a Laser Operator/CNC Machinist at Technogenia Lasercarb Technology, where I performed laser cladding and bonding material per customer request, using formulas and equations to determine machine capabilities and working with exact tolerances of +/.005. I also have a background in the customer service industry, where I served as a Team Leader at Chick-fil-A Restaurants, leading a team of employees with a sense of professionalism and ensuring high aspects of quality control. I have developed strong communication, people management, and retail skills through these roles. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lamar University, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. I have earned the President's List honor for my academic excellence and I expect to graduate in April 2024. I have also completed an Associate's degree in the same field from Lone Star College. I am passionate about learning new skills and applying them to real-world situations. I welcome adversity with open arms and I embrace change with absolute confidence. My goal is to leverage my skills and experience to contribute to the success of Motiva and the gas industry.
