About Gabriel Cal

My name’s Gabriel Cal and I’m a strategic & creative planner based in São Paulo, Brazil. I’m passionate about creating emotional branded experience platforms focused on technology, entertainment and data, always having the consumer’s needs and journey in sight. You can know more about my work here: or https://gabrielcal.games/ I’ve been working with brand experience, promo and activation for more than 18 years now and these are just some of my most recent work. My journey so far has put me in charge of large and small teams of very talented people, and gave me the opportunity to plan and create relevant experiences for some of the most important brands in the world. For all that work I’ve been three times nominated one of the top 3 live marketing planners in Brazil - twice in 2015 by Ampro Globes Awards and FIP Argentina, and the third time in 2020 by Promoview’s Prêmio Live. I’ve also had the opportunity to be a part of the jury of some of the most important BTL prizes out there - Ampro Globes Awards, Prêmio Caio and the Festival Iberoamericano de Promociones y Eventos. Besides work, I’m passionate about technology, music, games and pop culture. I’m also a die hard series and movies consumer, an inveterate board games and comics geek, DJ and producer of a brazilian party label named Brasileirada, and addicted to strategy, RPGs and competitive gaming.
