About Gabriel Castillo

I began my professional career at Farmers Insurance Group in 1996. I worked my way up from part time in their printing facility, to eventually taking a full time roll in their help desk. It was there I found my passion for problem solving and working with individuals as well as groups to help provide solutions to their problems. The help desk helped prepare me for my next evolution at the company as project manager. I was tasked with upgrading the existing service centers across the country. I organized and assisted in converting all of their data cabling solutions to handle the new IP and voice over IP solutions that was being rolled out at that time. Once that project was completed I was called back to the help desk, this time I was promoted to Level II and support specialist, and a department trainer. This allowed me to utilize my communication and verbal skills to help teach and grow all the new and existing employees in the department. 2007 was a time for me to change careers and challenge myself with something new and different. This was when I entered in the auto sales industry. I began when internet sales which was very new to car business. I learned several different CRM platforms and which enabled to meet and consult with potential clients. I was able to work with each customer and help them obtain the correct vehicle that fulfilled their wants and needs. It was in the auto industry that I found my next great passion as a Finance Manager. I was helping each customer get the most competitive auto loan rates, and creating customized insurance and protection packages to help protect their investment for years to come. Again I was called in to be a trainer for the sales department. Helping them to better understand the products I presented, and allowing them to also assist in those product sales. I am now looking to evolve once again. I wish to obtain a position within a passionate company where I can deliver impeccable customer service while assisting clients with their insurance needs. Utilize my communication, leadership, and technical skills to grow and improve the business. I intend to continue my personal career development while effectively demonstrating my commitment for professional excellence.
