My journey includes 1.5 years as the project lead for an infrared face recognition system in the integrated chip design industry. Here’s what sets me apart: As a passionate NLP learner: Recently I’ve honed my skills through practical NLP projects: Clickbait Spoiling. This project aimed to save users' time by spoiling tedious articles which have sensational titles. Here are what I did- Devised and implemented a comprehensive pipeline to counter various clickbait types, boosting performance by 9%- Utilized Hugging Face tokenization and transformer models (RoBERTa, T5) on Kaggle cloud- Fine-tuned larger models with LoRA, further improving performance by 15%(meteor score)- Employed GPT-3.5 turbo API as project baseline. Led an infrared face recognition project, where my expertise in object detection and face recognition played a pivotal role.
