I am a Computer Engineer with a Master’s degree in software engineering, currently serving as the Head of Digital Operations at Siemens Energy. In this role, I oversee a global digitalization team, driving the development and execution of digital solutions across various industries. My focus encompass all aspects of digitalization, allowing me to lead complex projects and engage in strategic decision-making at a Global level. With over 16 years of experience in managing software development projects and portfolios, I hold certifications in PMP and PM@Siemens, along with specialized knowledge in software engineering and maturity/governance models (CMMI-Dev Specialist). I am also a certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM) with extensive experience in agile practices and frameworks, including Scrum, SAFe, and XP. My expertise extends to creative methodologies such as Design Thinking and organizational frameworks like OKR. In addition, I worked for more than a decade as a software architect and software developer in both traditional and agile software development projects. Throughout my career, I have successfully led diverse digitalization projects and services, including Machine Learning, PIMS (IP.21 and OSISoft PI), MES, IoT, ECM, Business Intelligence, R&D, Tailor made solutions and Cyber Security for Energy, Food and Beverage, Mining, Process Industries and O&G. I have a proven track record in managing bids and proposals for digitalization projects and services, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals. My financial acumen allows me to effectively manage budgets, contracts, cost centers, ensuring financial targets are consistently met or exceeded. I excel in leading global teams, fostering collaboration and high performance while utilizing strategic partnerships to enhance project execution. As a manager and leader, I mentored and guided many developers, testers, architects, team leads, SMs, POs, and project managers during the execution of projects and in their career development. I have strong technical skills - my background involves different kinds of technologies and frameworks. In addition to my professional experience, I have served as a professor in MBA programs, teaching project management and sharing my insights on agile methodologies and digital transformation.
