About Gabriel Go

Let me start with a story I worked as a Branch Vice-President for AIESEC during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the start of my term, I wanted to drive success for my department. We aimed for crazy goals with the idea of being the best term ever. We were not expecting to be cut short of our plans after 1 month of working due to the lockdown. I wanted to salvage the situation. My initial reaction to the lockdown was to find ways to pivot our operations and challenge the pandemic. However, after one conversation with one of our members, I quickly realized that I should have paid better attention to their feelings of uncertainty. I discovered that when one tries to solve problems, it is not enough to use one's gut reaction. Instead, problem-solving needs to come from a place of understanding and working with others. This strengthened my commitment and passion for making data-driven decisions in solving the most challenging problems. Today, I am confident of my identity as a problem-solver. Over my cumulative experiences, I have developed myself in being: 1⃣ A problem solver that incorporates data-driven methods in business processes analysis. 2⃣ An excellent communicator that works well with both clients and teammates. 3⃣ An adaptable and organized worker that quickly learns new systems and tools. I hope to use my skillset to any organization that I would be a part of and create value for business through problem-solving- Let's connect! ‍ Gabriel Francis R.
