About Gabriel Hoffman

Over 40 years of experience as a system architect, systems engineer, developer, database architect, and key contributor to a variety of systems analysis, software development, and COTS integration projects using model based and Agile development methods. I have dealt with every phase of the system development process with particular emphasis in competitive proposal preparation, client interaction, project startup, requirements analysis, system/software architecture and design, Agile development, verification & validation, and enhancing staff effectiveness. Clients include DoD, US Federal Government, State Government, Local Government, US and International Commercial. Roles include Technical Lead for large ($100-400M) proposals; Chief Engineer/Chief Architect for a 3½ year $130M software development project; Chief Systems Engineer for a six-year $100M Systems Integration project; Technical leadership and assessment of ten $10-$50M proposals yearly; internal consultant for troubled projects; briefing line executives. These roles typically overlap and are performed virtually across the US. Most recently Director of Engineering for one of NGC's four sectors.
