About Gabriel Torani

A certified pharmacist who graduated from Université de Montréal in 2007, and a member of the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec, Gabriel is co-owner of Gabriel Torani and Habib Haddad Pharmacy, an independent expert pharmacy that offers specialized services, medications and treatments to patients and healthcare professionals throughout Québec. On the strength of its SpecPharma approach and the skills of more than 55 experts with a combined 100-plus years of experience in the healthcare field, Gabriel Torani and Habib Haddad have been helping and advising thousands of patients since 2011. They serve all of Québec with a safe, free and efficient delivery service, and also offer confidential advice and provide excellent patient care by telephone, videoconference or e-mail. Specialized medications and counsel are available for oncology, autoimmune diseases (multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease and others), rare diseases and chronic illnesses in neurology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and dermatology. The pharmacy also offers preventive services: vaccination, travel health, health coaching and nutrition. Working closely with medical specialists, nurses and hospital pharmacists, the team of pharmacists at Torani and Haddad also offers advanced clinical research services. It is the first pharmacy in Montréal to be certified carbon neutral and eco-responsible, and the one of the only community pharmacy that has achieved compliance with FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11. Upon graduating from Université de Montréal, Gabriel began his career as head pharmacist at a high-volume pharmacy affiliated with a large banner. He quickly identified patient needs that were difficult to meet in the traditional setting, which led him to become the owner of two low-volume clinical pharmacies and develop a personalized relationship with his clients. In 2011, he began his crusade for more specialized care focused on the needs of patients requiring more complex therapies. Thus was born the SpecPharma approach that guides the procedures of the Gabriel Torani & Habib Haddad Pharmacy he co-owns. Gabriel Torani is a member of several advisory committees and a guest speaker. He regularly participates in research projects and training activities. He speaks four languages, is the father of two children and is very involved in several charitable causes. He plays cosom hockey and tennis.
