I am a research associate in John Dick's lab. My primary interests include post-transcriptional regulation of hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) and leukemic stem cells (LSC) properties. My work has been focused on elucidating the function of miRNAs and human Argonautes in the hematopoietic hierarchy. In addition, I have been interested in uncovering the cell-specific gene regulatory networks controlled by miRNAs that contribute to the stemness properties of HSC and LSC. Together, my work has contributed to a better understanding of the post-transcriptional programs that control HSC and LSC-specific gene networks.
