About Gabriele Bertani

From 2009 to 2013 I attended the "Istituto per geometri Camillo Rondani"(technical institute, surveyor school). I changed my mind over what I wanted to do in the future the fourth year, so the same year I graduated at high school (one year early than my fellows). I studied everything by myself in the evening while doing the regular school program in the morning. I tryed the first time the admission test for medical school the summer of 2013 and I immediatly succeded. From 2013 to 2019 I attended the "University of Parma" for medical school. The second year I took an anatomy course wich lasted 2 month at New York University. I took the final exam with full marks. From the third year I always worked during the summer (in factory). I was an intern the last 2 year in ICU and in surgery ward. I took part to an European study "PRISM, prevention of respiratory insufficency after surgical management" during that period. I graduated with 110 and honor in July 2019. From October 2019 to February 2019 I carryed out the internship for the italian medical abilitation exam. From April 2020 to January 2021 I worked as a freelance at the "Pubblic health institute". My work was related to management of the COVD-19 pandemic from an wpidemiological stand point (from quarantine and contact tracing, to COVID swab and serological test management, to COVID19 vaccination campaign). In September 2020 I took for the first time the admission test for medical speciality school. I succeded the first time. Currently I am attending, from genuary 2021, the Cardiovascular Disease Speciality in the "Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Integrata of Verona"-2009-2013:"Istituto per geometri Camillo Rondani"(technical institute, surveyor school)-2013-2019:"University of Parma" for medical school -04/2020 to 01/2021: freelance at the "Pubblic health institute", Parma from 01/2021 'til now: Cardiovascular Disease Speciality "Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Integrata of Verona"-2009-2013: Istituto tecnico per Geometri. Diplomato un anno prima (maturità da privatista alla fine del 4 anno)-2013-2019: Medicina e Chirurgia, Università degli studi di Parma -2015: Corso anatomia presso New York University, esame finale sostenuto con pieni voti -2018-2019: PRISM trial, studio europeo sulla gestione dell'insufficienza respiratoria post operatoria -04/2020-01/2021: lavoro da libero professionista presso "Istituto Igiene e Sanità pubblica", Parma (gestione emergenza COVID19)-01/2021 ad ora: scuola di specializzazione in malattie dell'apparato cardiovascolare; AOUI Verona
