About Gabriella Scheftic

Solving problems creatively has always been something I loved to do. I found this out when I first went on a Habitat for Humanity trip with thirty other teens. I was so happy to be up on scaffolding hammering nails into the side of houses and figuring out how to cut siding to make it look presentable to the outside. I went on these trips for six years, and my last two trips I became a supervisor teaching younger teens how to do these tasks. These trips really hold a special place in my heart, and I really attribute my work ethic to them. Working in a fast pace environment is where I thrive, which is why I love serving and bartending. Making conversation and helping people have a good experience is what I enjoy doing. Bartending is all about multitasking and I learned that the first day of my training. Just watching my trainer go from greeting customers, to putting in orders, washing dishes, answering the phone, putting online orders in the computer and doing it all over again I was scared my first day. But I was excited. I was thrown into the mix on one of the busiest days of the week and I loved every second of the chaos.
