About Gabrielle Ada

Working in retail at Gap and Steve Madden allowed me to develop my customer service skills and gain a first-hand understanding of retail marketing tactics while cultivating a strong work ethic. I particularly enjoyed the challenge of matching the customers' needs to the products available in the stores. Outside of work, I am a member of the American Marketing Association at the University of Maryland. I participate in various workshops and activities the organization offers to become more well-versed in marketing and business in general. For leisure, I enjoy activities such as sewing, reading, and spending time in nature. Sewing is an activity I got into as a teenager because I found it as a creative outlet for me at the time. I have since begun to express my creativity through a multitude of outlets, such as drawing, scrapbooking, and smaller sewing projects. Recently, I have delved into the world of creating digital images with the use of Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
