Background

About Gabrielle Ho

As of writing this, I am a recent graduate of Vassar College. I majored in psychology with correlates in creative writing and Asian American studies. One day I hope to utilize the knowledge and skills I've acquired to reduce the stigma against mental health and increase accessibility to treatment, whether through social work, therapy, or writing. In regards to work experience, I have interned for the best-selling author Adriana Trigiani, worked as a Wellness Peer Educator at Vassar, and have done research for an online mental health project. I've also published two articles on Spoon University and am in the process of trying to get some of my poems published. Don't be fooled by all the writing and editing though. I've spent almost half of my life doing volunteer work, and one day I hope to be a psychologist and a writer. Overall, I am interested in counseling, mental health, research, advocacy, writing, editing, and journalism. In my spare time, I sing, do puzzles, and am in the process of writing three novels, a series of short stories, and a collection of poems.
