About Gabrielle Toczek

I am a Creative Writing major and potential Integrated Education Studies minor at Chapman. From the time I was little and the first time I felt how well the pencil fit in my hand. My love for writing only deepened when my dad divulged that he spent most of his life as an aspiring writing but never got the timing quite right. In hopes of achieving his dream, I dedicated myself to pursuing writing. I have been lucky enough to find outlets for my creative passion at Germ magazine as well as pursue the journalistic side of writing through the Panther newspaper. I am also intrigued by the education aspect of literature, I have pursued this by working at the Friendly Center as well as getting a tutoring job specifically for writing that I will begin in the fall. I would like to not only achieve my dream of being a writer for me and my dad, but also inspire others to write through education.
