About Gage Cady

Hello! My name is Gage! I consider myself a jack of all trades when it comes to video production. I have had classes on everything from animation and cinematography to motion graphics and advanced media writing. Out of all my experiences, however, I am a video editor at my core! I love to edit videos. I've been creating amateur YouTube videos since I was in middle school and my passion has only grown and bloomed since then. I love the feeling I get from staying up all night working on a project. My passion for video editing and video production in general is unmatched by anyone I've met. Nobody else I know at least is crazy enough to stay in front of a screen for 32 hours straight just to put a quality project out (I'd love to tell the story in more detail some time). Point is, I have a passion and I live to express it! I'll list a few things I'm good at outside of editing as well! Firstly, I'm an impeccable communicator and team member! Working in the admissions office at UWSP allowed me to develop my communication and team building skill. Not only did I have to give tours to new and diverse groups of people every week, but I also had to help run events with other ambassadors and team members. I am extremely motivated. The feeling of pushing out a good project is all I need to motivate myself to do my very best. I am competitive at what I love, and as I said before, I love editing. Lastly, I'm just a friendly guy! If you are reading this and wondering whether or not I'm the right fit for a job, talk to me! Give me an interview and I'll be as pleasant as possible! I'm hungry to work. I want to show the world (and employers, for that matter), what I can do! I'm just waiting for an employer to swoop me up and allow me to give them all I have to offer!
