About Gage Jackson

Currently, I am a full time student studying at the University of Auckland, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce and Property, majoring in finance. I plan to finish my degree mid-way through 2026. My studies have broadened my interest in understanding the workings of the financial world and its intersection with the property market. I'm also interested in digital marketing and its growth potential, given everyone is using devices. I'm interested in leveraging data for business growth and creating a positive impact. With my background in both sports and academia, I've developed foundational skills like resilience, discipline, communication skills, leadership, computer skills, time management, and teamwork.Beyond my studies, my passion is to play professional rugby. I was selected for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rugby team in 2021, and then I went on to develop in the Auckland Rugby Academy and Auckland Rugby Contenders programs. In 2023, I played for the Blues U20's side, and this year I played for the Blues A team. Balancing my studies and rugby can be challenging at times, but I have developed great time management skills as a result.
