About Gail McDaniel

My desire and passion has is to utilize my professional skills in an environment that embraces development and education in a setting that encourages the health and well being of animals and people. In previous roles at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) I was responsible for Web and Social Media Communications including a variety of lead roles in design, implementation and development of the SCFconnect portal, website, social media platforms and student blog. I provided training and education programs to support these areas to the college communities (students, faculty, employees). My experience at Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) provides a varied background in web development and design, digital communications, presentation skills, office management, administrative support, payroll and fiscal reporting, fostering community partnerships, marketing and event coordination in the Marketing, Behavioral Health and Children's Medical Services developmental evaluation and intervention programs. I have coordinated and supervised volunteers, student interns and community service work in these roles as well. Service excellence and customer service is my priority in any role. I was fortunate to win the EXCEL award at SMH and to be a leader for the Pride in Excellence initiative at SCF.
