About Gail Stevens
With the closing of Cheryl Burke Dance in October of 2015, I have continued to teach in both Mountain View, Redwood City and Half Moon Bay. Specializing in private lessons, group classes and formation groups in American Style Rhythm and Smooth Dances, including Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba, East Coast Swing, Bolero and Mambo, plus Samba, Night Club Two-Step, Salsa, West Coast Swing etc. I work primarily with adults but also enjoy working with High School age students at a social dance level. As a volunteer for California State Parks, I lead regular cultural/ historical hikes at McNee Ranch State Park at Montara Beach and help out with monitoring the Snowy Plover and Great Blue Heron populations, as well as doing some outreach. As part of the Main Street Scholar teaching staff in Half Moon Bay, I teach French classes and tutor.
