About Galen Rydzik

I am a full time student at New College of Florida studying Quantitative Economics, Applied Mathematics, and Music. I help organizations with project management and research with my expertise in leadership, database management, and information technology. I also assist in creative endeavors with my experience in musicianship and audio recording. By applying a high level of emotional intelligence and actively listening to others' needs and viewpoint, I have done well in bringing out the best in others through leadership roles. When combined with my diligent work ethic and excellent communication skills, I have been often tasked with independently managing projects and have produced a track record of excellent results. My big-picture focus and analysis of interactions between fine details allows me to creatively solve problems, which often leads to improved efficiency and greater contentment among fellow project collaborators. After graduating in the top 10 of my high school class with an Associate's Degree from Hillsborough Community College, I was awarded the Horatio Alger State Scholarship for overcoming adversity. I intend to pursue a Master's degree in electrical engineering after graduating from New College of Florida.
